I became my own boss after getting made redundant in lockdown...

I started this venture in lockdown from my home. I started off by seeking orders through social media pages and delivering in all of Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

As orders started to increase and shops/cafes etc. were all opening back up, I started to look at places to rent.

I was originally looking for somewhere to store my products and a base for making orders, but then I found a unit in The Hidden Lane, Finnieston which provided me with a shop front and space in the back for my stock.

Thankfully my small business continues to grow and I have been in the lane for 3 years.

I get asked where Simba comes from, its my nickname that I have had since I was about 10 years old.

(yes I do love the lion king but not sure why I got the name, maybe my mane)
